The Wounds of Gaza
The Lancet is leading independent journal of global medicine. With first publication dating back to 1823, magazine is one the most reputed journal and an authoritative voice in global medicine. Authors of The Lancet aim and take pride to combine publication of the best medical science in the world with a zeal to counter the forces that undermine the values of medicine, be they political, social, or commercial.
The Lancet has recently published an article on Gaza residents’ miseries after recent Israeli aggression. Two Surgeons from the UK, Dr Ghassan Abu Sittah and Dr Swee Ang, visited Gaza during the Israeli invasion and gave their first eye account of what they witnessed in Gaza. Its painful, shocking and sad but we need to read these kind of honest opinions to make us more determined to help Gazans and share this stuff to uncover Israeli brutalities that are covered by traditional media.
